Hi All,
I just finished "Murder in Amsterdam" and wanted to encourage you to
keep going if you're stalling out.... the first third is very
academic and not that engaging, but after that, I'm pretty sure your
head will be spinning about Amsterdam, free speech, and Islamic
fundamentalism/ rage.

I have finished it too.
I found it a little disjointed - just when he starts to get in depth with something he moves on to a different topic. I enjoyed reading about the New Holland but I think the book would have been better if he had focused more on a comparison of the murders of Fortuyn and Van Gogh.
I am looking forward to a good discussion of this one.
